Ms. M. Jayalakshmi is a seasoned Human Resources leader with over 25 years of comprehensive experience across diverse facets of the HR function. She is a B.Com graduate and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management from the prestigious Madras School of Social Work. 

 She retired as General Manager – Human Resources from Parry Agro Industries Limited, part of the Murugappa Group, where she played a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening people practices aligned with organizational and business goals.

 Throughout her distinguished career, Ms. Jayalakshmi has led end-to-end HR operations, encompassing manpower planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management systems, learning and development, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, statutory compliance, and exit management. She has been particularly effective in designing learning interventions driven by individual development plans, ensuring sustained capability building across the organization. 

 Known for her hands-on, solution-oriented leadership style, she has been instrumental in conceptualizing and implementing HR policies tailored for plantation employees, addressing both operational and workforce realities. She has also successfully designed and executed leadership development programs for plantation executives, contributing to the creation of a strong leadership pipeline. 

 With a leadership approach that blends empathy, integrity, and strong business acumen, Ms. Jayalakshmi has consistently earned the trust and respect of employees at all levels. As a Director, she brings deep expertise in people strategy, governance, and organizational development, adding significant value to the company’s long-term growth and sustainability.
